It is free to use a City Bike. Release your City Bike from one of the City Bike Stations by depositing a 20-kroner coin in the lock placed on the handlebars. When you return the bike to any of the stations the coin will be returned - just like the shopping carts in the super markets.
You will find your City Bike at one of the 20 City Bike Stations on
this Google Map.
When you are in the city it is easy to recognize the City Bike Stations on the City Bike logo and the blue City Bikes with their Vattenfall and City of Aalborg logos.
Feel free to use the bikes all over Aalborg and Nørresundby 24 hours a day. But remember to return the bike to one of the City Bike Stations after use. If you should find a lost bike, just return it to one of the stations and earn 20 kr. or contact us by sending us either an
SMS to 1204 with the text '
bycykel (address of the lost bike)', by leaving a message on
2727 3462 or by writing us a note with the address
here.
When riding through Aalborg, enjoy the positive effect on your health and don't forget that you are helping the environment by saving CO
2 for each kilometer you are cycling instead of driving your car or a taxi.
The City Bikes belong to all of us – please take good care of them so they are ready for use next time.
The City Bikes are provided to you for free by
The City of Aalborg,
Vattenfall and the
European Union as part of the
CIVITAS project ARCHIMEDES.
